E8 Funding Review 2023: What Makes It the Best US Proprietary Trading Firm?

E8 Funding Proprietary Trading Firm Review

Hello everyone, and welcome (or welcome back if you're a regular reader). It's great to have your company, as always. This time, I'm here to present you with a fresh, updated review, and our focus today revolves around E8 Funding and its latest enhancements since our previous evaluation.

E8 Funding stands as a firmly established proprietary trading firm, continuously expanding its reach and drawing the attention of traders. Its global appeal to traders from all corners of the world has remained undeniable since its incorporation.

But let's dive in and uncover the array of benefits that E8 Funding offers to traders worldwide. Also, make sure to stay with us right until the conclusion of the presentation because we have an exclusive discount code in store for those intrigued by their funding programs. Without further ado, let's get started.

E8 Funding is one of the leading proprietary trading firms in the entire industry. It was incorporated back in November 2021, marking the beginning of a remarkable growth trajectory largely attributed to the leadership of CEO Dylan El-Karming.

While the headquarters of E8 Funding are situated in Dallas, Texas, let's now take a closer look at the different funding program options they offer to their traders. There are three different programs to choose from:

  • E8 Evaluation Program Accounts (Normal and Extended)
  • E8 Track Program Accounts

E8 Funding Normal Evaluation Program

Let's start with the E8 Funding Normal Evaluation Program Account, which identifies serious and talented traders rewarded for their consistency during the two-phase evaluation period. With this account, you can trade with 1:100 leverage and choose among USD, Euros, or Great British Pounds.

In Phase 1, a trader must reach a profit target of 8%. It's important to note that you can't exceed the maximum daily loss of 5% or an overall maximum loss of 8%. During Phase 1, there are no time limitations or minimum/maximum trading day requirements.

To progress to Phase 2, you only need to achieve the 8% profit target without violating the daily or overall loss limit rules. Upon reaching Phase 2, the profit target is reduced to 5%, and you must continue to adhere to the respective daily and overall loss rules. As in Phase 1, there are no minimum or maximum trading day time limitations to attain the funded status; you simply need to reach the profit target.

Upon successfully completing both evaluation phases, you'll be awarded a funded account with no specific profit targets. Instead, you are required to respect the daily and overall loss rules of 5% and 8%, respectively.

Your first payout will be available 8 calendar days from the day you place your first position on your funded account. Subsequent withdrawals can be submitted on a bi-weekly basis. The profit split is 80% based on the profit you generate from your funded account.

It's worth noting that the maximum loss rule increases by 1% with each successful withdrawal you receive, up to a maximum of 14%, which is a notable feature of the program.

E8 Funding Extended Evaluation Program

Now, let's take a closer look at the E8 Funding Extended Evaluation Program Account, which is also designed to identify serious traders rewarded for their consistency. With this account, you can still trade with 1:100 leverage, and you have the option to choose between USD, Euros, or Great British Pounds as your nominated currencies.

In Phase 1 of this program, you must achieve a profit target of 8%. However, there are stricter rules in place, including a daily loss limit of 5% and an overall loss limit of 10%. As before, there are no time limitations, but you are required to complete a minimum of 5 trading days in Phase 1 to proceed to Phase 2. There are no maximum trading day requirements.

For Phase 2, the profit target is reduced to 5%, and you still need to adhere to the 5% daily loss or 10% overall loss rules. There are no maximum trading day requirements for Phase 2, but once again, you are required to trade a minimum of 5 trading days to qualify for a fully funded account.

Upon successfully completing both evaluation phases, you achieve the goal of obtaining a funded account, where you have no specific profit targets. Instead, you are always required to adhere to the daily and overall loss rules of 5% and 10%, respectively.

Regarding payouts, your first payout is scheduled for 14 calendar days from the day you place your first position, and all subsequent withdrawals follow a bi-weekly schedule. The profit split remains at 80%, and the maximum loss rule increases by 1% with each successful withdrawal, capping at 14% once again.

It's important to note that you have the flexibility to choose from various account sizes when opting for a normal or extended E8 Evaluation Program Account. Available options include $25,000, $50,000, $100,000, and $250,000. You can trade a wide range of assets, including forex pairs, commodities, indices, equities, and cryptocurrencies.

Both types of E8 Evaluation Program Accounts also offer a scaling plan. You can increase your account balance by requesting a profit split at the end of each trading period. E8 Funding will send you an 80% profit split of your earnings and add back the balance before withdrawal to boost your account size.

For example, if you are trading a $250,000 account and make a 10% profit, your account balance becomes $275,000. By requesting a profit split, you receive a payout of $20,000, which represents 80% of the $25,000 in profits earned. With your account balance now at $275,000, you can continue trading with this increased capital. This scaling plan offers significant benefits for traders.

E8 Track Program Review

Now, let's delve into the E8 Track program, which, once again, seeks consistency while offering traders the opportunity to prove their skills and manage account sizes ranging from $25,000 up to $250,000, all at a lower cost compared to the E8 Evaluation Program accounts.

The E8 Track program operates over a three-phase evaluation period, emphasizing the importance of consistent performance. Traders in the E8 Track program can still utilize 1:100 leverage. In Phase 1, you must achieve a profit target of 8%. During this phase, you are subject to daily loss limits of 5% and overall loss limits of 8%. There are no specific minimum or maximum trading day requirements, providing flexibility in your trading approach.

To proceed to Phase 2, you simply need to attain the 8% profit target without breaching the daily or overall loss limit rules. In Phase 2, the profit target is reduced to 5%, while the daily and overall loss rules remain the same. Once again, there are no minimum or maximum trading day requirements for Phase 2.

Advancing to Phase 3 involves reaching the 5% profit target without violating the established loss rules. Phase 3 retains the same profit target, loss limits, and trading day requirements as Phase 2.

If you successfully complete all three evaluation phases, you will be awarded a funded account where you are not bound by specific profit targets. However, you must always adhere to the daily and overall loss rules, which stand at 5% and 8%, respectively.

Your first payout is scheduled for 8 calendar days from the day you place your first position on your funded account, and all subsequent withdrawals can be submitted on a bi-weekly basis. The profit split remains at 80%, based on the profit generated from your funded account. Additionally, the maximum loss rule increases by 1% with each successful withdrawal, capping at 14%, providing added flexibility.

Similar to the E8 Evaluation Program account, the E8 Track program also features a scaling plan, allowing you to increase your account balance by requesting a profit split at the end of each trading period. The plan follows the same model: you receive an 80% profit split and have the balance added back before withdrawal, effectively boosting your account size.

When considering E8 Track program accounts, it's crucial to keep key rules in mind, including the profit targets during the evaluation phases, maximum daily and maximum loss limits, and be aware of third-party copy trading risk and third-party EA risk. The trading instruments available for the E8 Track program include Forex pairs, commodities, indices, equities, and cryptocurrencies.

What Sets E8 Funding Apart

So, what sets E8 Funding apart from some other proprietary firms out there?

E8 Funding distinguishes itself by offering three different funding programs, which we've already discussed: the E8 Evaluation, Elevate, and E8 Track programs, each with its unique features. Importantly, they offer a high degree of flexibility in trading styles, allowing you to trade during news events, hold trades overnight, and imposing very relaxed trading rules with minimal restrictions. Notably, they don't set strict limits on the trading period, providing traders with ample time to navigate the evaluation process and achieve funded status.

Another standout feature of E8 Funding is its provision of a free trial option, giving their community the opportunity to test their trading conditions. This helps traders prepare and reduce the likelihood of errors when considering the purchase of any of the three evaluation programs.

Additionally, E8 Funding provides a well-structured dashboard accessible to all clients. This dashboard makes it incredibly convenient to manage risk, as it offers real-time access to objectives and statistics, updated every minute, providing traders with essential insights around the clock.

Now, the question arises: Is attaining E8 Funding capital a realistic goal? As always, it's essential to consider the trading requirements when evaluating a proprietary firm. While the prospect of a high-profit split on a well-funded account may sound enticing, if the firm expects high monthly gains with minimal drawdowns, your chances of success could be diminished.

However, taking these factors into account, E8 Funding appears to be an excellent choice. With three distinct programs to choose from, they set realistic trading objectives and conditions for receiving payouts. Overall, E8 Funding accommodates various trading styles and appears to be a solid option for traders seeking funding.

Moreover, if you're looking for payment proof, you can find a substantial amount of evidence from their traders who have managed to be profitable and receive profit splits.

TrustPilot features successful traders appraising them for their payouts, and the Telegram channel often showcases payout certificates from accomplished traders. Joining these communities can be valuable for anyone considering a proprietary firm.

Using E8 Funding for over few months, including the trial account and evaluations; and Im very impressed with almost everything. The dashboard is neat and very informative without flaws to provide all tools. All of the steps including the automated target reached notification, certificate generation, and manual verification processes have been excellent! On top of it, love their policies, flexible rules and the competitive pricing model for consistent traders. Also, I had to reach out to customer support for some resolutions and they haveve been prompt and helpful - Andrew got it resolved quickly. The only con is a larger spread for some pairs, though for long-term traders it should not be an issue.Hope they keep doing a fantastic job in future, will keep this review updated as it goes.

As for trading instruments, as mentioned earlier, you can trade forex pairs, commodities, indices, equities, and cryptocurrencies with leverage of up to 1:100, depending on the specific instrument.
